Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with the University's mission, growth plans, and financial model
- Direct all admissions operations, policies, and procedures
- Provide governance oversight for student registration, course scheduling, and enrollment systems
- Provide executive leadership for student life functions including orientation, student engagement, counseling, housing, clubs, athletics, and support services
- Develop institution wide strategies to improve student retention, persistence, and on time graduation
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait Ministry of Higher Education regulations, PUC requirements, and accreditation standards
- Align enrollment planning with tuition revenue projections and financial sustainability goals
- Promote the use of enrollment analytics, dashboards, and predictive modeling
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate directors and staff across Enrollment and Student Affairs units
- Represent the University externally with schools, government agencies, partners, and community organizations
Requirements
- PhD or terminal degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 10 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in enrollment management, student affairs, or academic administration within higher education
- Demonstrated success in achieving enrollment growth and improving retention outcomes
- Strong knowledge of academic governance, policies, and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing large teams and complex operations
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and financial management skills
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities

Position Summary
- The Vice President for Enrollment & Student Affairs is a senior executive leader responsible for developing and executing the University’s comprehensive strategy for student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, student success, and campus life.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Enrollment Leadership: Develop and implement enrollment strategy, set targets, lead market analysis, and oversee recruitment pipelines.
- Admissions & Recruitment: Direct admissions operations, ensure compliance, expand recruitment initiatives, and collaborate with Marketing.
- Registration, Scheduling & Academic Coordination: Oversee registration, course scheduling, and enrollment systems; coordinate with academic departments.
- Student Affairs & Campus Experience: Lead student life functions, foster inclusive environment, oversee student conduct.
- Retention, Persistence & Graduation: Develop retention strategies, monitor academic progress, ensure graduation tracking.
- Compliance, Governance & Accreditation: Ensure compliance with Kuwait regulations and accreditation standards.
- Financial Stewardship: Align enrollment with revenue goals, collaborate on scholarship policies.
- Data, Analytics & Technology: Promote analytics, oversee student information systems.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor staff, foster cross functional collaboration, represent University externally.
Qualifications
- Required: PhD or terminal degree, 10 15 years leadership experience in enrollment management/student affairs, demonstrated success in enrollment growth and retention, strong knowledge of academic governance, experience managing large teams, excellent strategic and financial skills.
- Preferred: Doctoral degree in Business Administration or Higher Education Administration, experience in international/Middle Eastern higher education, familiarity with accreditation in Kuwait/GCC, background in financial modeling.
