Role Overview
BNY is seeking a Vice President Full Stack Software Engineer for its ETF Technology Team in Asset Servicing.
The role focuses on enterprise solutions supporting critical ETF platforms, modernization, resiliency, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions for ETF platforms and business workflows.
- Partner with product, business, architecture, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
- Contribute to Java, microservices, API, front-end, data integration, and DevOps modernization.
- Drive clean code, automated testing, code reviews, secure development, and disciplined releases.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, improve observability, and reduce risk.
- Improve platform resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery and quality.
- Communicate updates and risks clearly and support successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot technologies.
