Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of full-stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify experiences, reduce operational toil, and streamline workflows.
• Contribute to AI initiatives and solutions.
• Align with Agile ways of working and demonstrate BNY’s collaboration and ownership principles.

Required qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Have 8 to 15 years of experience in the offered role or a related information technology occupation.
• Have proven enterprise full-stack development experience.
• Be proficient in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Be proficient in back-end technologies such as Java, Big Data, Node.js, or Python.
• Have experience with databases and analytical tools such as SQL or Snowflake.
• Have experience using AI tools and solutions such as Windsurf, Devin, Copilot, or coding assistants.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Have experience leading a small team and managing stakeholder communication.

Additional skills

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is requested.
• Exposure to deploying applications in production regions is requested.
