Role Overview

  • At Macquarie Asset Management, you will work alongside high caliber professionals focused on delivering measurable value across a diverse portfolio of assets.
  • We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability.

What role will you play?

  • Sitting side by side with asset teams, the Transformation & Operations mandate is to drive value creation across Macquarie Asset Management's portfolio companies to maximise fund returns.
  • This function focuses on AI, automation and other digital enabled value creation levers.
  • You will work closely with management to identify, design, and execute digital and AI initiatives that increase profitability and overall value of portfolio companies.
  • Support asset teams in associated decision making throughout the life cycle of the assets.
  • Act as the primary Transformation & Operations digital and AI partner for Australian portfolio companies.
  • Diagnose where technology creates the most value, design the right interventions, and own execution end to end including building solutions directly where required.
  • Work closely with specialist Portfolio Performance Group colleagues to ensure the right expertise is engaged at the right moment.

What You Offer

  • 8+ years experience in a relevant/equivalent AI & Transformation role within Asset Management or Private Equity industry.
  • Ability to build scalable AI capabilities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience supporting investment decisions through due diligence, identifying value creation opportunities and operational risks related to digital and AI.
  • Proven capability to lead end to end implementation including process redesign, solution build, integration, vendor management, and driving adoption.
  • Experience translating business problems into practical AI and digital solutions.
  • Strong ability to assess business models, operations, and strategy to identify and prioritise high value digital and AI opportunities.
