The Role
The Vice President of Compliance provides senior-level leadership across compliance, regulatory governance, risk oversight, and internal controls.
The role develops compliance frameworks, monitors regulatory developments, assesses risks, coordinates internal reviews, and advises leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across compliance, regulatory governance, and risk oversight.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, standards, and control frameworks.
- Monitor regulatory and legal developments and assess business impact.
- Identify, assess, and monitor compliance and operational risks.
- Lead compliance monitoring, internal reviews, and remediation initiatives.
- Review internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, HR, operations, and other relevant functions.
- Establish monitoring, reporting, and documentation processes.
- Support compliance projects, assessments, audits, and governance initiatives.
- Advise management and stakeholders on compliance requirements and risk matters.
- Review compliance issues, incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain records and prepare compliance, risk, governance, and management reports.
