Role Overview
A large, diversified organization is seeking a Vice President – Audit to lead its Internal Audit function across a complex, multi-business environment.
Reporting to the Board, the role provides independent assurance over governance, internal controls, and operational processes.
The primary focus is to deliver a high-quality Internal Audit function while overseeing Enterprise Risk Management and continuous improvement.
Internal Audit Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based Internal Audit strategy and annual audit plan.
- Lead operational, financial, compliance, and functional audits across multiple business units.
- Evaluate governance, internal controls, and key business processes.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve operational efficiency, and enhance business performance.
- Drive process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder and Risk Oversight
- Monitor remediation plans and ensure timely implementation of agreed audit actions.
- Present audit findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to executive leadership and the Board.
