Job Description
BNY is seeking a Vice President, AI / Machine Learning Data Engineer for its Finance Engineering team.
The role is located in Manchester and focuses on designing and building AI-driven solutions for complex enterprise problems.
The position covers the full lifecycle of AI solution development, from problem formulation and model selection through integration and deployment.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered solutions for enterprise data and analytics problems.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured AI/ML approaches and algorithms.
- Build scalable AI architectures, including model pipelines, data processing, and decision systems.
- Collaborate with platform, data, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI methodologies and frameworks.
- Document solution designs, assumptions, and algorithms for enterprise adoption.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in software development with additional experience using AI-based frameworks.
