Role Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing veterinary healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will support veterinarians in diagnostics, treatments, laboratory work, patient care, and clinic operations while maintaining high standards of animal care and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Prepare animals and equipment for procedures and diagnostics
- Monitor animal vital signs before, during, and after treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Collect and handle laboratory samples accurately
- Support post-operative care and patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinic hygiene standards
- Monitor medicine and consumable stock levels and expiry dates
- Ensure proper handling of medical and biological waste
Responsibilities
- 2–4 years of experience in veterinary clinics or animal healthcare
- Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Nursing, or related field
- Experience in diagnostics and surgical assistance is preferred
- Strong animal handling and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic English communication skills required
