Fairy Tail Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join its clinical team in Al Furjan, Dubai.
The role supports veterinary consultations, diagnostics, treatment, surgery, hospitalization, and general small-animal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with consultations, examinations, and treatment plans.
- Take patient histories and prepare cases before examinations.
- Assist with blood collection, sample preparation, laboratory testing, X-ray, and ultrasound support.
- Prepare patients for surgery and medical procedures, assist during surgery, and monitor recovery.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Administer treatments and medications under veterinarian supervision.
- Assist with vaccinations, wound care, IV preparation, and other clinical procedures.
- Communicate patient progress to the veterinary team and maintain hygiene and clinical organization.
Requirements
- Veterinary medicine or a relevant veterinary educational background is preferred.
- Good knowledge of small-animal medicine and clinical procedures is required.
- Confident handling of cats and dogs is required.
- Previous veterinary clinic experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Candidates must currently be available in the UAE.
Workplace
- The work location is in person at the clinic in Al Furjan, Dubai.
