About the Role
VETS IN THE CITY is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals. The role requires hands-on clinical practice, expertise in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and valid UAE licensure.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, anesthesia management, and post operative care
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions in companion animals
- Interpret diagnostic tests including blood work, imaging, and clinical investigations
- Maintain record keeping on EzyVet
- Maintain high animal welfare standards
- Handle emergency and after hours cases
- Work closely with team of doctors, nurses, and technical staff
Requirements
- Recognized veterinary degree from an accredited institution
- Valid licensure to practice in the UAE (MOCCAE certification)
- Years of hands on clinical practice
- Strong background in Veterinary Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery
- Experience with diagnostic imaging
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Excellent client communication skills
- Compassionate and dedicated team player

Role Description
- The Veterinary Surgeon will bring years of hands on clinical practice, a strong background and experience in Veterinary Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery and diagnostic imaging; orthopedic surgery experience will be an added advantage.
- The role involves record keeping on EzyVet, maintaining high animal welfare standards, handling emergency and after hours cases, and working closely with our team of doctors, nurses and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Veterinary Surgery, including routine and advanced surgical procedures, anesthesia management, and post operative care.
- Proficiency in Veterinary Medicine and general Medicine, with the ability to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions in companion animals.
- Laboratory Skills for interpreting diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and other clinical investigations.
- Veterinary degree from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure or registration in the United Arab Emirates (MOCCAE CERTIFICATION).
