Job Purpose
Provide professional and compassionate customer service while managing reception, appointments, client communication, billing, and administrative tasks in a veterinary clinic.
Serve as the clinic's first point of contact while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and respectful communication.
Main Duties
- Welcome clients and pets and answer phone, WhatsApp, and general inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and coordinate consultations, surgeries, boarding, grooming, and other services.
- Register clients and pets and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and process invoices and payments and follow up on pending balances.
- Explain clinic services, procedures, and policies to clients.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary assistants about appointments and requirements.
- Receive and relay client concerns and complaints professionally.
- Follow up with clients about appointments, treatment updates, discharge, and instructions from the veterinary team.
- Do not provide medical advice or diagnosis; refer medical questions to the veterinarian.
- Maintain confidentiality, cleanliness, organization, shift handover, and compliance with clinic policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and accurate billing and payment handling are required.
- Organization, multitasking, calm handling of difficult clients, and teamwork are required.
- Willingness to learn veterinary procedures, terminology, and clinic policies is required.
Compensation
- Pay starts from QAR 3,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person at the veterinary clinic.
