About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and label medications accurately according to veterinary prescriptions
- Counsel pet owners on medication usage, administration, storage, and potential side effects
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage medication inventory, stock rotation, expiry checks, and controlled drugs
- Coordinate closely with veterinarians and nursing teams to ensure timely medication supply
- Receive and reconcile medication deliveries and supplier invoices
- Support inventory audits, stock counts, and pharmacy process improvements
- Deliver excellent customer service while handling medication related inquiries
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy with relevant professional licensing/eligibility
- Previous veterinary pharmacy experience preferred (human pharmacy experience also considered)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dispensing procedures, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced hospital environment
