Role Description
- The Veterinary Nurse at Kare Veterinary Clinic plays a key role in delivering clinical and compassionate care to animals under the supervision of veterinarians.
- This full time, on site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates involves assisting with consultations, monitoring patients, preparing animals for surgery, and supporting anesthesia and recovery.
- Daily responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, performing basic diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating pet owners on preventive care and post treatment instructions.
- The Veterinary Nurse also helps maintain a clean, safe, and well organized clinic environment and collaborates closely with the veterinary team to ensure efficient, high quality service.
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in veterinary nursing, animal health, or a related field, plus relevant clinical experience in a veterinary practice or animal hospital.
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills, with the ability to work safely and calmly with pets of different sizes, species, and temperaments.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures, including administering medications, assisting with surgery and anesthesia, and performing routine diagnostic tests.
- Solid communication and client service skills to explain treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and support pet owners with empathy and professionalism.
