- Conduct and assist with diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork, imaging, urinalysis and faecal examinations

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized Veterinary Nursing qualification (e.g., diploma in veterinary nursing)

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the health and well being of animals in the clinic.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring anesthesia, and postoperative care.
- Monitor and treat inpatients according to their condition and husbandry needs.
- Conduct and assist with diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork, imaging, urinalysis and faecal examinations.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to interpret test results and make recommendations for patient care.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, answer questions regarding medication administration, post treatment instructions, and provide updates on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient cases and clinic protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new medical procedures, and advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Participate in training sessions and pursue opportunities for professional development.
