VOO Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to provide hands-on clinical support in a boutique practice in Abu Dhabi. The role involves assisting with consultations, administering treatments, monitoring hospitalized patients, and supporting surgeries.

Responsibilities
- Assist with consultations, administer medications and treatments, and monitor hospitalized patients
- Support routine and emergency procedures, including preparing animals for surgery and managing anesthesia
- Collect and process laboratory samples and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate with clients about pet care plans, discharge instructions, and preventative health measures
Requirements
- Strong Veterinary Nursing skills, including support during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Demonstrated Animal Care and Pet Care abilities
- Experience with Anesthesiology assistance
- Laboratory Skills for sample collection and basic diagnostics
- Relevant veterinary nursing diploma or degree and professional registration
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital environment, especially with small animals
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work full time on site in Abu Dhabi, including occasional evenings or weekends

Role Description
- Provide hands on clinical support to veterinarians and ensure high standards of animal care.
- Assist with consultations, administer medications and treatments, monitor hospitalized patients, and support routine and emergency procedures.
- Prepare animals for surgery, manage anesthesia under veterinary supervision, collect and process laboratory samples, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate with clients about pet care plans, discharge instructions, and preventative health measures.
Qualifications
- Strong Veterinary Nursing skills including support during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Demonstrated Animal Care and Pet Care abilities with a compassionate approach.
- Experience with Anesthesiology assistance, including monitoring vital signs and patient recovery.
- Laboratory Skills for sample collection, basic diagnostics, and equipment handling.
- Relevant veterinary nursing diploma or degree and professional registration where applicable.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital environment, especially with small animals.
- Effective communication skills to explain treatment plans and home care instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team with attention to detail and patient safety.
- Willingness to work full time on site in Abu Dhabi, including occasional evenings or weekends.
