Role Overview
Vets Fur Pets Veterinary Clinic is seeking a veterinary nurse in Dubai, UAE.
The role supports veterinarians, assists with medical procedures, and provides care for animal patients.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in veterinary nursing or veterinary assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and treatment rooms.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.
- Administer prescribed medications.
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients.
- Educate pet owners on aftercare, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and follow health and safety standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Assistant.
- Availability to work shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of animal care and handling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
