Venture Operations Associate

Fund Operations: Support core fund administration processes, including capital calls, distributions, LP communications, fund expenses, wire coordination, and investor documentation.

Deal Execution Support: Help coordinate investment closings, diligence materials, subscription documents, side letters, cap tables, and closing checklists.

Portfolio Tracking: Maintain accurate portfolio company records, investment data, ownership information, valuation updates, and key company metrics.

Investor Reporting: Support quarterly reporting, LP updates, data requests, performance summaries, and investor-facing materials.

Deal Flow & CRM Management: Help manage pipeline tracking, CRM hygiene, founder communications, and internal deal process workflows.

Compliance & Documentation: Track fund compliance obligations, regulatory filings, tax documentation, K-1 readiness, and ongoing corporate records.

Vendor & Service Provider Coordination: Work with fund administrators, accountants, legal counsel, banks, and other providers to keep workflows moving.

Process Improvement: Build and improve internal systems, trackers, templates, and operating procedures as the fund scales.

2–3 years of experience in venture capital, fund operations, investment operations, investor relations, fund administration, or a related role.

Strong understanding of venture fund mechanics, including capital calls, LP reporting, investment closings, cap tables, and portfolio tracking.

High attention to detail and comfort working with financial, legal, and operational data.

Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and ability to manage structured datasets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Self-starter mentality with strong ownership, judgment, and follow-through.

Full-time role based in San Francisco .

At SemiAnalysis, you’ll help build the operational foundation for a venture platform investing at the center of the AI and semiconductor ecosystem. You’ll work closely with the investment team, founders, LPs, and service providers while gaining exposure to both the investment process and the operational machinery behind a fund.
