Role Description
- The Vendor Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and some work from home flexibility.
- Responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers, ensuring consistent access to high quality ingredients, packaging, and related services.
- Day to day tasks include evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts and pricing, overseeing procurement processes, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Coordinate with operations and finance to align purchasing decisions with budget and production needs, while ensuring timely deliveries and cost effective supply solutions.
- Resolve vendor related issues, identify process improvements, and support development of long term vendor partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and quality.
- Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and build sustainable vendor relationships.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and liaise with vendors.
- Procurement skills to manage purchasing activities and source new suppliers.
- Contract Management skills to oversee compliance and maintain documentation.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: experience in food or retail supply chains, familiarity with budgeting and cost control, strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in vendor management or procurement.
