Role Description

  • The Vendor Manager is a part time role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on site collaboration with the flexibility to work from home.
  • The role focuses on managing relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring that contracts, pricing, and service levels align with organizational objectives.
  • Day to day responsibilities include overseeing the vendor selection process, supporting procurement activities, evaluating vendor performance, and coordinating contract renewals and amendments.
  • The Vendor Manager will work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, maintain accurate vendor records, and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and compliance.
  • This role also involves preparing reports, analyses, and recommendations to support informed decision making and optimize vendor value.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review vendor performance, costs, and risks and provide data driven insights.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Procurement and vendor selection processes to ensure fair, efficient, and compliant sourcing.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms and manage changes in scope or pricing.
  • Candidates should possess solid Contract Management capabilities to oversee contract lifecycles, renewals, and compliance with agreed service levels.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain productive vendor relationships.
  • Experience in public sector or government environments, especially within the UAE, is beneficial.
  • Relevant education in Business, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in procurement or contract management are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and use standard office and procurement related software tools.
