Role Overview
Vehicle Inspection & Evaluation Executive role in used-car evaluation and sales operations.
The role inspects pre-owned vehicles, identifies defects and repair needs, determines market value, and prepares reports for purchasing, pricing, and sales decisions.
Vehicle Inspection
- Conduct detailed physical inspections of used vehicles.
- Check exterior, interior, tyres, lights, glass, body panels, and overall condition.
- Inspect major mechanical and electrical components.
- Identify accident damage, repainting, rust, mechanical issues, and modifications.
Evaluation and Valuation
- Assess vehicle age, mileage, service history, ownership history, and usage.
- Identify future repair and maintenance requirements.
- Estimate refurbishment costs.
- Determine market value using vehicle condition, market trends, and comparable vehicles.
- Recommend buying, exchange, or resale prices.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed inspection reports with photographs and supporting information.
