VDI Engineering specialist

Peerless is seeking an individual with a current TS/SCI clearance who is a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineering Specialist.

This person will be part of a team responsible for the implementation, management, maintenance, security compliance and documentation of the organizations multi-cloud BDI and thin-client endpoint environment.

This is an in-person job in Dayton Ohio, relocation assistance possible.

• Thin Client Management (AWS Cloud hosted) Infrastructure Admin- deploy, configure and patch Endpoint profile management- Develop, push and test operating system configurations (PeakOS, RepurpOS, NOS) Lifecycle and firmware updates Hardware conversion

• VDI Platform Engineering and Testing Azure Virtual Desktpo- build and maintain gold images, manage multisession host pools, configure FSLogix profile containers AWS Workspaces- package and deploy applications, integrate Active Directory/AWS directory services, administer WorkSpace pools and configure streaming protocols Horizon Virtual Desktops- provision and optimize instant clones, manage storage layers, configure horizon connection servers Test & User Feedback loops- Establish pilot groups, gather metrics, refine virtual desktop templates
• Azure Virtual Desktpo- build and maintain gold images, manage multisession host pools, configure FSLogix profile containers

• Security Compliance & Systems Hardening ISSO Collaboration- serve as technical POC for Security officers STIG Implementation Certificate to Operate (CTO) Support- Author, test, gather tech evidence to achieve and maintain CTO and ATO
