- Review bookkeeping and accounting records prior to VAT filing
- Coordinate with internal accountants to ensure books are completed accurately and on time
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and VAT treatment issues in financial records
- Prepare and submit VAT returns through the FTA portal
- Ensure timely VAT filings for multiple clients
- Maintain proper VAT working files and documentation
- Assist clients with VAT related queries
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations
- Support VAT audits and FTA clarification requests when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of UAE VAT filing experience
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT Law and FTA regulations
- Hands on experience with the FTA portal
- Experience reviewing bookkeeping and accounting entries
- Proficiency in accounting software (ZOHO, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA / CA Inter / CPA (partly qualified) is an advantage

Position Overview
- We are seeking a VAT Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of UAE VAT experience to manage VAT review and filing assignments for multiple clients.
- The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with the accounting team, review bookkeeping records, ensure compliance, and handle VAT submissions through the FTA portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Review bookkeeping and accounting records prior to VAT filing
- Coordinate with internal accountants to ensure books are completed accurately and on time
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and VAT treatment issues in financial records
- Prepare and submit VAT returns through the FTA portal
- Ensure timely VAT filings for multiple clients
- Follow up with accounting team to ensure pending work is completed before filing deadlines
- Maintain proper VAT working files and documentation
- Assist clients with VAT related queries
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations
- Support VAT audits and FTA clarification requests when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of UAE VAT filing experience (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT Law and FTA regulations
- Hands on experience with the FTA portal
- Experience reviewing bookkeeping and accounting entries
- Proficiency in accounting software (ZOHO, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA / CA Inter / CPA (partly qualified) is an advantage
