QatarEnergy LNG is recruiting a Valve Supervisor for a workshop in Doha, Qatar. The role involves supervising valve and PRV repair activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating maintenance for operations readiness.

Responsibilities
- Supervise valve repair activities and workshop maintenance team required for operations readiness, commissioning, and start up
- Execute all tasks associated with valve and Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) repair activities in workshop for all Company facilities onshore and offshore
- Supervise valve and PRV repair activities of the valve workshop with optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety and execution of valve repairing
- Ensure that valve and PRV repair activities are delivered in accordance with international standard and codes as per the Company standards and specifications
- Prepare PRV test reports and store as per the Company standards and specifications
- Track and ensure the valve and PRV repair activities are meeting the biweekly schedule
- Coordinate the valve and PRV repair activities during normal operations and in shutdown, quality, and safety of execution
- Maintain valve and PRV test benches and test periodically to meet the Company standards and inspection requirement
- Ensure the air compressor and nitrogen gas cylinders are stored and used as per the Company standards and specifications
- Provide effective Toolbox Talks (TBT) are conducted and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all activities
- Ensure valve repairing spare parts are used without wastage and remaining unused materials are returned to warehouse with necessary documents
- Ensure the valves calibration test benches are calibrated and certified by third party as per Company procedure
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering
- 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or petrochemical industry in the valve repairing field
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Capable to conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT) and hazard Identifications
- Knowledge of American Petroleum Institute (API) codes

Job Overview
