Responsibilities
- Inspect, install, maintain, and repair a wide range of industrial valves and actuator systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Perform diagnostic tests, identify faults, and carry out troubleshooting and calibration to ensure reliable process control and operational safety
- Conduct field service visits, document service activities, and prepare technical reports
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams
- Support commissioning and participate in preventive maintenance programs
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures
Requirements
- Strong skills in valve repair and maintenance for ball, gate, globe, check, butterfly, plug, and control valves
- Experience in field service activities, including onsite inspection, installation, and commissioning of valves and actuators
- Knowledge of process control principles and applications in industrial environments
- Competence in calibration and adjustment of pneumatic and electrical actuators and related control systems
- Proven troubleshooting skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues affecting valves and actuators
- Understanding of ANSI and DIN standards and familiarity with water, power, chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and manuals
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to company and regulatory procedures
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Role Description
- The Valve & Actuators Technician is a full time, on site role based in Dubai. This role involves inspecting, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of industrial valves and actuator systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- The technician will perform diagnostic tests, identify faults, and carry out troubleshooting and calibration to ensure reliable process control and operational safety.
- Daily tasks include field service visits, documentation of service activities, preparation of technical reports, and coordination with engineering and operations teams.
