- The position is based within the Quality team at the company's Somercotes facility.
About the role
Sterigenics provides sterilisation services supporting the safety and effectiveness of medical devices and pharmaceutical products.
The Validation Engineer supports customer validation projects in a highly regulated environment.
The role serves as the facility's technical representative for validation activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and manage customer validation projects from initiation through completion.
- Write and review validation protocols, reports and supporting technical documentation.
- Execute validation studies involving processing runs, laboratory testing and sample management.
- Collect, analyze and interpret validation data.
- Support IQ, OQ and PQ equipment qualification activities.
- Ensure calibration activities comply with the Quality Management System and applicable standards.
- Maintain compliant validation records and documentation.
- Lead efficiency and process-improvement projects.
