• V&V Execution and Quality Assurance Characterize the vehicle and derive requirements, decomposing them to module and component level with bidirectional traceability to test evidence. Support / co-own the mechanical or electrical DVP&R - plan and execute functional and performance testing on prototypes and production-intent hardware. Cooperate with mechanical and electrical V&V to perform EMI / EMC, vibration, shock, thermal, and environmental testing Build and maintain HIL benches and custom fixturing and automate regression testing Identify and troubleshoot firmware functionality, compatibility, and performance issues; lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to closure.

• Working knowledge with automotive APQP.
• Experience working directly with Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers.
• “On your feet” knowledge of International automotive environmental and safety standards, including ASTM B117, SAE J1455, or ISO 16750 and 11451/11452.
• Working knowledge of AEC standards.
• Ability to adjust V&V Process to support various OEMs.
• Experience with CANbus, Python, Shell, Unix OS, SPICE.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Technical experience in developing self-driving vehicles.
• Experience with the NRTL (UL) and CE certification.
• Experience directly instrumenting cars and trucks to model the mechanical or electrical system and / or perform shock, vibration, EMC testing.
• Experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS, Polarion.
• Accelerated life testing, HALT/HASS, and Weibull or reliability demonstration analysis.
