About the Role
Technip Energies is seeking a V.I.E Environmental Officer for an 18-month assignment in Doha, starting October 2026.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily composting activities including loading/unloading food waste, dry matter, and compost, and conducting maturity tests
- Carry out daily observation rounds and participate in weekly walkthroughs with Company
- Assist with on site dust and noise measurements, handling equipment and reporting
- Perform SDS checks using in house software
- Conduct daily dewatering water analysis (pH, chlorine, temperature) in the V ditch
- Track energy and fuel consumption monthly using Excel
- Maintain daily observation register
- Participate in housekeeping campaigns and communication campaigns (Environment Day, Clean Desert Day, Clean Beach Day)
Requirements
- Master's degree or engineering degree in Environmental Sciences
- Skills in industrial hygiene and/or HSE management systems
- Fluent English
- Relevant experience in the environmental field
- Ability to understand project operations and construction site challenges
- Physical strength for handling composters and measuring instruments
- Driving license or ability to obtain one
- French or European nationality (aged 18 28) for V.I.E program

Position Details
- V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) reserved for French or European nationals aged 18 28.
- Start date: 1st October 2026, Duration: 18 months.
- Integrated within the on site environment management team.
Daily Work
- Mobilized on construction sites (W9 and Camps).
- Assist with composting activities daily.
- Carry out daily observation rounds under supervision of an Environmental Supervisor.
Environmental Analysis
- Assist with on site dust measurements.
- Assist with on site noise monitoring.
- SDS check using in house software.
- Daily dewatering water analysis in the V ditch.
Environmental Reporting
- Track energy and fuel consumption monthly using Excel.
- Maintain daily observation register.
Exceptional Events
- Participate in regular housekeeping campaigns (bi weekly).
- Participate in communication campaigns (Environment Day, Clean Desert Day, Clean Beach Day) yearly.
Profile
- Master's degree or engineering degree in Environmental Sciences.
- Skills in industrial hygiene and/or HSE management systems.
- Fluent English.
- Relevant experience in the environmental field.
