Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum two years’ programming and/or systems analysis background required. Experience at Farm Bureau, or a similar business, in computer information technology preferred. Experience in business process modeling concepts, tools, and standards preferred.
• Current knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, program language(s) and tools, testing techniques and tools, program specification and interpretation required. Working knowledge of systems design and analysis tools and techniques required. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience required. Willingness to pursue continuing job related training and education in systems and insurance required.
• Note: If a candidate is not selected, an Associate Application Developer position may be considered on the level of experience and qualifications. This is a Hybrid position working both remotely from the State of Michigan, and in the Farm Bureau Home Office located in Lansing, Michigan.
