Fair Waves Marine Services seeks an experienced UTM Technician to perform Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging inspections on ships and marine structures. The role requires 8-10 years of experience in UTG and marine inspection, ASNT Level II certification, and coordination with classification societies.

Responsibilities
- Perform Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging (UTG) inspections on ships and marine structures
- Prepare UTG reports, steel calculations, and repair plans
- Coordinate inspections with classification societies such as ABS, DNV, LR, BV, IRS, RINA, KR, NKK, and others
- Supervise and guide UTG technicians during inspection activities
- Conduct thermographic inspections of electrical panels and motors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Support rope access operations when required
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in UTG and marine inspection
- ASNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) preferred
- Experience working with classification societies
- Knowledge of repair planning and steel renewal calculations
- IRATA Rope Access certification (Level I or II) will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Good communication skills in English
