About the Role
Hoymiles is seeking a Sales Manager to lead business development and sales of utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the UAE. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of energy sector sales experience, with at least 2 years focused on utility-scale BESS, and a strong network with UAE energy stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to capture utility scale BESS opportunities across the UAE market
- Identify, prospect, and close deals with key stakeholders including utility companies, IPPs, large EPC contractors, and government agencies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers, technical influencers, and procurement teams
- Lead commercial negotiations, including contract terms, pricing, and framework agreements
- Coordinate with internal technical, legal, and project management teams to deliver compelling proposals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and upcoming tenders
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Achieve annual sales targets and pipeline growth objectives
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales / business development experience in the energy sector
- At least 2 years focused on utility scale BESS (10 MWh+ projects) or closely related fields
- Proven track record of closing deals with utilities, IPPs, or major EPCs in the Middle East, preferably the UAE
- Deep understanding of energy storage applications, PCS, battery technologies, and project financial models
- Strong existing network with UAE energy stakeholders (DEWA, ADDC, EWEC, Masdar, ACWA Power, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power, Renewable Energy) or Business
- Fluent in English (business level)
- Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally to other GCC countries

About the Company
- We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the business development and sales of utility scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the UAE.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling large scale energy storage solutions to utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and government entities.
- Both UAE nationals and Indian nationals based in the UAE are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales / business development experience in the energy sector, with at least 2 years focused on utility scale BESS (10 MWh+ projects) or closely related fields.
- Proven track record of closing deals with utilities, IPPs, or major EPCs in the Middle East, preferably the UAE.
- Deep understanding of energy storage applications (grid services, peak shaving, renewable integration, frequency regulation), PCS, battery technologies (LFP, NMC, etc.), and project financial models (CAPEX, OPEX, LCOE, LCOS).
- Strong existing network with UAE energy stakeholders (DEWA, ADDC, EWEC, Masdar, ACWA Power, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power, Renewable Energy) or Business. MBA is a plus.
- Language skills: Fluent in English (business level). Arabic or Hindi are strong advantages.
- Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally to other GCC countries.
