Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of: Operation and maintenance of various types of powered equipment, hand, and power tools Safety activities such as vehicle traffic control Wastewater collection systems Skilled at: Standard Operating Procedures for complex processes Equipment inspections and adjustments as well as planned maintenance activities Interpersonal communications skills sufficient to interact effectively in a team-based environment Supporting high safety standards/practices and strong work ethics. Ability to: Read and interpret underground utility drawings Comprehend written technical procedures and manuals Do mathematics using decimals and fractions Multi-task in a high-activity work environment. Conduct field measurements and observations Complete the transmission training programs Education, Certifications, and Licenses Graduation from high school or GED required. Collections System Operator Certification Class I or equivalent (out-of-state certifications will require reciprocity). Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
