Utility Driver (Class 5)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pull-up service for Front Load trucks by entering underground parkades with a pickup truck, manually bringing large garbage and recycling bins out to street level for collection, and returning them afterward.
• Navigate tight, low-clearance, and high-traffic parkades - this requires advanced maneuvering skills in confined spaces with limited visibility.
• Load and unload heavy bins manually, often pushing or pulling them 60–80 times per day.
• Safely secure bins to the back of the utility vehicle and manage multiple stops under strict time constraints - speed, strength, and focus are essential.
• Maintain strong communication with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient route completion.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrate professionalism, safety awareness, and attention to detail at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shifts available: 5X8 Shift Monday to Friday - 4:30am - 06:00am start.
• 5X8 Shift Monday to Friday - 4:30am - 06:00am start.
• Other duties as assigned.
