Responsible for following established directives and training from the chief operators in both water and wastewater plants by:

Plant operation, plant monitoring, sampling, record keeping, service, and repair

Maintaining sanitation of water through pipes to buildings and facilities

Plant monitoring, record keeping, service, and repairs

Pulling sludge from plant to drying fields

Daily walk through of plant evaporation ponds, spray fields, and sludge drying fields

Manage distribution system and collection system by:

Drinking water line/leak repairs, flushing, hydrant testing, valve exercising/replacement

Wastewater collection

Perform new/repair projects on plant, facilities, lines, lift stations etc.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.

Must agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct.

Must be able to live in Hume Lake housing or provide private accommodations conducive to guests and conference needs.

High School Graduate or higher.

Strong work ethic and mechanical skills needed.
