The primary responsibility of the Industrial Utilities Technician is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all utility systems that support manufacturing operations, including boilers, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, water treatment, and other facility infrastructure.
This role ensures continuous operation of plant utilities to support production efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.
The Industrial Utilities Technician will report to the Facilities and Utilities Coordinator.
Principal Duties 1.
Daily On-Site Attendance. 2.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant utility systems (boilers, compressors, chillers, HVAC, water and wastewater systems, etc.). 3.
Monitor, inspect, and record equipment performance; identify issues before they cause downtime. 4.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. 5.

Maintain and calibrate instrumentation, control systems, and sensors related to utilities equipment. 6.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new utilities equipment or facility upgrades. 7.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. 8.

High School diploma and/or technical certification in Maintenance Program, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Equivalent experience may be considered. 2. 3+ years of experience in industrial utilities or plant maintenance (manufacturing environment strongly preferred). 3.
Electrical background, including experience with low-voltage and industrial wiring and electrical maintenance. 4.
Comfortable with hands-on field work—must be able to work in production areas, climb ladders, and use tools in real-time troubleshooting. 5.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
