Role Overview
- We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a UI Engineer to work on a contractor basis.
- You will design, develop, and maintain user interfaces that directly support the training and evaluation of next generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable UI components using React and TypeScript to enhance the platform's front end capabilities.
- Collaborate cross functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, user centric solutions.
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into elegant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Champion best practices in UI design, code quality, and performance optimization throughout the development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and resolve UI/UX issues to continuously improve the product’s quality and usability.
- Mentor peers on front end engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in front end development with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI) with a strong emphasis on responsive and accessible design.
- Experience translating wireframes and design mockups into functional, pixel perfect implementations using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Solid understanding of front end performance optimization techniques, including bundle analysis, code splitting, and lazy loading.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, async first environment.
