About You

  • We are looking for a successful full time B2B Account Executive or Business Development Manager with demonstrable experience in POS / retail software / retail technology and selling to retailers within the United States.
  • You should have Sales and Business Development skills within a tech startup, and market knowledge of US target retail customers.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing customer accounts, building long term relationships across a variety of retailers.
  • New business development: generating own Sales revenue from scratch using established contacts.
  • Meeting sales targets and KPI's.
  • Communicating product information to potential customers.
  • Conducting market research on competitors and similar in house products.
  • Managing own Sales administration process.
  • Working with the international team throughout the Sales cycle.
  • Creating and delivering own Business Development plan.

You Will Have

  • Sales and business development skills within a tech startup, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience of POS or very similar retail tech.
  • Deep knowledge of the US market in terms of target retailers.
  • A proven success rate of net revenue increase YOY >100%.
  • Experience/market knowledge of the retail industry, particularly in store retail technology.
  • Influential communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to manage your own time to meet your target.
  • Problem solving, engineering mindset proven in past experiences.
  • Ability to work long hours required in a start up.
  • Ability to manage existing relationships and growth of existing clients.
