Key responsibilities
- Supervise and execute installation, testing, and commissioning of single-phase and three-phase UPS and STS systems at client sites.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including battery health checks, thermal imaging, and firmware updates.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software faults on UPS and STS systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to minimize client downtime.
Education and experience
- An associate degree, higher diploma, or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field is required.
- At least three years of hands-on field experience servicing industrial or commercial UPS systems is required.
- The role requires deep understanding of power electronics and three-phase AC distribution.
- The role requires knowledge of DC battery systems, including VRLA and lithium-ion batteries, and power quality analyzers.
