Al Wafa Group is seeking an operations supervisor for a uniforms factory in Abu Dhabi.
The role covers garment merchandising, procurement, production, quality assurance, packaging, and extended customer support.
Merchandising
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends and customer demands.
- Coordinate with design and product development teams on timely prototyping and sampling of uniform designs.
- Review and finalize garment specifications, pricing, and production timelines based on customer requirements.
Purchasing and materials
- Monitor inventory levels and procure trims and raw materials in time to meet production schedules.
- Negotiate supplier pricing and contracts while maintaining high uniform quality standards.
Production and factory management
- Oversee the entire production process to maintain smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Manage daily factory operations, productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
Packaging and quality assurance
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent product quality throughout manufacturing.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Customer support
- Lead the customer support team in handling post-sales inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Communicate order status, delivery updates, and special requirements to customers.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in any stream, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven garment manufacturing experience, including at least four years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of garment production from design to delivery.
- Excellent leadership, team management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Employment and compensation
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 per month.
Workplace and commute
- Work is performed in person in Abu Dhabi.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Abu Dhabi or plan to relocate before starting work.
