Vantage is seeking an Underwriting Operations Specialist to support day-to-day underwriting operations for our Insurance segment.
Reporting to the AVP, Underwriting Training and Quality, you will own a set of recurring reports and process documentation that keep submissions, workflows, and work transfers running smoothly across the team.

Base salary for the selected candidate will range from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with candidate experience and expectations.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
Prepare and distribute the daily Submissions Tracking Report.
Working with all Vantage businesses and support teams, map and document business unit workflows to support process consistency and improvement.
Track and report task transfer timings across underwriting operations.
Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations for each of Vantage’s underwriting businesses.
Provide backup support for mailroom processes as needed.
Prepare and distribute the Weekly Work Transfer Report.
Transcribe process recordings into written process documents.
Own and maintain Work Transfer SharePoint documentation.
Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from underwriting operations leadership.
Take on other underwriting operations activities as identified.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of professional experience.
At least 2 years of industry experience required.
Located within a commutable distance to the Chicago office.
Highly detail oriented, with strong accuracy in recurring reporting and documentation.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, comfortable working across teams.
Strong Excel skills required.
Proficiency in PowerPoint.
Interest in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.
Familiarity with Claude or other AI tools is a plus.
