As Hometap's Underwriting Manager, you'll own day-to-day management of the underwriting team, reporting to the Director of Originations.

You're responsible for running current and future team operations to hit individual, team, and company metrics, supporting individual development, resolving escalations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working cross-functionally to build solutions.

This work sits at the center of Hometap's investment process, helping fulfill the mission of making homeownership less stressful and more accessible.

You'll need to be execution-oriented with exceptional attention to detail, and able to think critically about risk on a unique product as guidelines and market conditions shift.

Following existing processes while iterating on future versions of them will be central to the role.

You're a great fit if you bring several years of residential underwriting experience, experience managing a production-based team, and the attention to detail needed to catch what others miss.

• Own day-to-day management of the underwriting team, driving productivity, accuracy, service quality, and guideline adherence
