The Underbody Process Engineering Standards Specialist - Machining will develop, validate, deploy, and maintain advanced manufacturing process specifications, standards, and process sheets for propulsion systems machining across North America.
Working through simultaneous engineering with Product Engineering, Industrial Strategy, Quality, plant engineering, tooling, and equipment suppliers, the role will translate product requirements into robust machining concepts, process flows, equipment and tooling specifications, and design-to-manufacturing rules.
Near term, the role will also develop advanced machining process cost estimates, assumptions, and methods.
This responsibility will transition to Industrial Strategy once the applicable standards, documentation, estimating methods, and formal handoff requirements are established.
