Role Overview
This is a part-time remote UX Designer role at Oswah community.
The designer will create intuitive, accessible, culturally appropriate digital experiences for leadership-related platforms and tools.
Responsibilities
- Work with program owners and stakeholders to understand user needs.
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Map user journeys and create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Refine designs based on feedback and data.
- Apply design thinking to leadership-related platforms and tools.
- Ensure interfaces are visually coherent, culturally appropriate, accessible, responsive, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and other team members on user-centered solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong user-centered mindset with design thinking and UX skills.
- Proficiency in visual design and prototyping using modern UX and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile interfaces.
- Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and interaction design best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant education or training in UX design, interaction design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience designing for educational, leadership, or community-focused platforms is a plus.
