Position Overview: The Ed Nichols Math Center Tutors work with the Math Coordinator within the Academic Success Center (ASC) to provide academic support devoted to mathematics for students at all levels.
The tutors, reporting to the Math Coordinator and the ASC Director, are key players in supporting the success and persistence of all students.

Achieved A’s in college level math courses up through Calculus I and/or B’s in college level math courses with a recommendation from a member of the Math faculty.

Demonstrated expertise in contemporary best practices in learning assistance.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with computers and other forms of technology utilized in providing high-quality instruction and the understanding and successful use of learning technology.

Maintain regular hours in person and online as assigned, assist with phone calls and office communication as needed, and attend staff training.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the department leadership and in conjunction with the Division of Academic affairs initiatives.
Pay Range: $12.00 - $20.00/Hr dependent upon degree achievement
