About the Department

Provide individualized peer tutoring to students of TRIO Student Support Services.

Provide individualized tutoring to supplement classroom learning and instruction.

Facilitate insight into the learning process.

Assist students in the comprehension of course content.

Participate in professional development training in person and on discussion boards.

Provide a student perspective on learning and school success (organization, note taking, time management, etc.).

Remit tutee progress reports on a weekly basis.

Administration of learning style instruments as needed (VARK, Barsch, etc.).

GPA 3.0 or higher.

A or B in proposed courses.

Two BGSU faculty/staff references.

Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student.
