Job Summary

The role delivers services to clients by operating company equipment at client rig locations safely and on time.

Maintenance and Service Duties

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on TRS equipment and associated accessories.
  • Inspect, test, service, repair, clean, and preserve equipment at the workshop or designated maintenance facility.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic faults and complete repairs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Torque Turn/JAM systems, including calibration checks, cable repairs, sensors, and communication systems.
  • Perform post-job inspections and workshop function tests to confirm equipment safety and readiness.

Readiness and Records

  • Verify equipment readiness before mobilization and ensure components, certificates, and spare parts are available.
  • Identify, tag, and quarantine defective or nonconforming equipment until repair, inspection, or certification is complete.
  • Record inspections, maintenance activities, replaced parts, test results, defects, and corrective actions in the maintenance system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, tools, spare parts, and consumables and report critical shortages.
  • Coordinate repairs, certifications, spare parts, and equipment readiness with maintenance, engineering, QA/QC, supply chain, and operations teams.

Team and QHSE Duties

  • Maintain housekeeping, tool control, and safe storage within the workshop.
  • Guide and support junior technicians and act as maintenance lead when assigned or when the supervisor is unavailable.
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments, Near Miss reporting, Incident reporting, Stop Card programs, and other QHSE initiatives.
  • Perform duties according to company policies, maintenance procedures, OEM requirements, quality objectives, and applicable QHSE standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing improvements in business performance is preferred.
  • Experience creating systems that encourage resourcefulness is preferred.
  • Experience working with specialists to identify, source, and justify new technologies is preferred.
