Trim Lead 2nd shift

The Trim/CNC/Boots Lead provides daily work direction and training but does not independently make final decisions regarding hiring, termination, disciplinary action, compensation, or other employment matters.

Employee performance, attendance, conduct, or safety concerns should be documented and promptly communicated to the Production Supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

in Trim, CNC, Boots, Secondary Operations, or a similar manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Previous lead or training experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of department processes, quality expectations, and safe work practices.
• Ability to effectively train and provide direction to employees.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work based on production needs.
• Ability to identify quality defects and production concerns.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and operate applicable production equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day operational decisions within the scope of the position.
• Dependable, organized, and able to lead by example.
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Must regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

This position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to temperature changes, heat, cold, noise, dust, moving equipment, machinery, and other manufacturing-related conditions.

The position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

Appropriate PPE must be worn as required.
