Treasury Optimisation Manager (Capital)

Driving capital optimisation strategies and decisions

Assessing the capital treatment of new products and deriving returns on equity

Enhancing and building out capital management and allocation frameworks

Managing group capital plans and reviewing subsidiary plans

Supporting business decision making and associated capital actions

Performing regular capital forecasts and assessing ongoing capital adequacy

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on capital regulation requirements and risk management

Understanding and interpreting regulatory requirements in relation to safeguarding

Liaising with Product Owners as part of the new product launch process

6+ years of experience in treasury management focusing on capital (or similar) in a financial institution or fintech

A proven ability to build and/or enhance processes

Familiarity with Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)

An in-depth understanding of capital risk

A track record of contributing analyses and explaining decisions to senior management

Great problem-solving skills to break down complex issues into their component parts, identify the root cause, and create elegant solutions

A solid understanding of treasury concepts

Fluency in English

Accounting knowledge

Experience in forecasting/modelling

A CFA, ACCA/ACA, and/or CertBALM qualification
