Opportunity Overview
The employer is seeking a Travel Designer for a luxury travel and bespoke experiential design client.
The role serves UHNW and VIP clients and owns the journey from initial inquiry through the guest's return home.
The role combines creative travel design, client service, operational coordination, and commercial awareness.
Journey Design and Curation
- Design bespoke, multi-destination luxury itineraries for UHNW and VIP clients.
- Transform client preferences and travel aspirations into personalized experiences.
- Create polished itinerary documents and journey presentations.
- Research unique experiences, hidden gems, luxury properties, and exclusive access opportunities worldwide.
Client Relationship and Servicing
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout each client's journey.
- Build relationships based on discretion, responsiveness, warmth, and judgment.
- Maintain detailed client preference profiles for proactive, personalized service.
- Provide seamless support before, during, and after travel.
Operational Excellence
- Manage flights, hotels, transfers, dining, private experiences, guides, and concierge services.
- Coordinate with luxury hotels, DMCs, private guides, chauffeurs, and experience providers.
- Ensure accuracy across travel details and proactively manage changes or challenges.
- Monitor journeys in real time and resolve issues quickly.
Product and Commercial Contribution
- Track luxury travel trends, new openings, emerging destinations, and exclusive experiences.
- Contribute ideas to improve the travel portfolio and client offering.
- Support commercial objectives through recommendations and itinerary design.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, financial information, and internal workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in luxury travel design, operations, or travel concierge.
- Strong knowledge of global luxury destinations and premium travel suppliers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with confidence and precision.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience with UHNW or VIP clients is highly preferred.
Schedule
- The position is full-time, Sunday through Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM UAE time.
- Some flexibility is required around client travel schedules.
- The expected start date is immediate.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The stated locations are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or remote with a hybrid arrangement.
