Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and chiller systems on transport vehicles

Role Description
- The Transport Refrigeration Technician (Chiller Vehicle) is a full time, on site role based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
- The technician will install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and chiller systems on transport vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and temperature control.
- Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and completing detailed service reports.
- The role involves working with tools and testing equipment, following safety standards, coordinating with service advisors, and communicating clearly with customers and team members to plan repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Preventive Maintenance, with experience planning and performing scheduled service on refrigeration and vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration related issues in chiller vehicles.
- Solid understanding of Electricity and basic automotive electrical systems relevant to transport refrigeration units.
- Hands on experience in Maintenance & Repair of transport refrigeration units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related components.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, temperature control, refrigerants, and safe handling practices.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in automotive, refrigeration, or HVAC technology; trade test or manufacturer training is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service procedures, with attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, and flexibility to handle multiple vehicles and urgent repair requests.
- Previous experience in an auto workshop or transport refrigeration environment, preferably within the GCC region, is beneficial.
