The Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, is now accepting applications from current Court employees for available transfer opportunities. Current employees represented by SEIU Local 721 may be eligible for transfer if the employee: Does not have formal disciplinary actions within the last twelve (12) months from the date of application; Has completed his/her probationary period successfully; Has not been transferred within the last twelve (12) months as a result of the employee's request. All other employees must: Have successfully completed their probationary period in their current classification and hold active status. HIRING & SELECTION PROCESS: Submit Your Application: Complete and submit an application for the position you wish to be considered for. Eligibility Review: The Human Resources Department will review your application and determine your eligibility for transfer with the Court. Placement on the Eligibility List: If approved, your name will be placed on the eligibility list for the position for which you have applied. Eligibility List and Interview Process: Eligibility lists will not expire; therefore, employees are responsible for requesting removal of their names from the transfer list. When a vacancy is authorized to be filled, the Court will refer to the eligibility list to identify qualified candidates for interviews. If you are selected for an interview, the hiring department will contact you directly to schedule an appointment. Once an interview has been scheduled, you are responsible for attending, waiving, or canceling the appointment. If an employee receives a disciplinary action while they are on the transfer list, the employee will be removed from the transfer list. Note: Due to the nature of some positions, not all are eligible for transfer. Current employees represented by SEIU Local 72 1 may be removed from the transfer list if the employee has: waived two (2) selection interviews within the employee's selected Court locations (employee may be eligible to reapply after six (6) months of the date of removal; No-show/no-call to a scheduled interview (employee may be eligible to reapply in twelve (12) months) All other employees must: Have successfully completed their probationary period in their current classification and hold active status.
